Itinerary

Day 01: Amritsar

Arrive at Amritsar Railway Station/Airport. On arrival meet and greet by our representative who will take you to the hotel. Check in hotel. In the evening visit Wagah Border “India–Pakistan Border” which is famous for its 'Retreat' ceremony at the time of sunset. Indeed the flag-lowering ceremony at the end of each day on the India-Pakistan border at Wagah in Punjab has over the years become a tourist destination. The two flag posts are located contiguous to the boundary line between the two gates. The Wagah check-point is about mid-way between the cities of Lahore in Pakistan and Amritsar in India, each about 25 kilometers away. After that in evening back to the Hotel, Overnight at Amritsar Hotel.

Day02: Amritsar

After Breakfast, Start your city tour with the blessings of Sri Harmandir Sahib, is named after Hari (God) the temple of God, also known as the Golden Temple in Amritsar is the holiest shrine of the Sikh religion. It was built by the fifth Sikh guru, Guru Arjan, in the 16th Century. In 1604, Guru Arjan completed the Adi Granth, the holy scripture of Sikhism. There are four doors to get into the Harmandir Sahib, which symbolize the openness of the Sikhs towards all people and religions. The Gurdwara is surrounded by a large lake or holy tank, known as the Sarovar, which consists of Amrit (holy water). Sri Harmandir Sahib is the heritage of the Sikh people gathered in their five hundred years old history 
Then visit Jallianwala Bagh which is a memorial to the countless numbers of innocent Indians which were massacred by General Dyer in 13 April 1919 which happened to be 'Baisakhi', one of Punjab's largest religious festivals. British General, Edward Dyer, ordered his soldiers to opened fire on an unarmed gathering of Hundreds men, women and children in this place. 
After lunch visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum- The summer place of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. It is surrounded by the lovely garden Ram Bagh. Maharaja Ranjit Singh is a prominent figure, who had carved a niche for himself in the history of India. The Museum displays objects connecting to Maharaja Ranjit Singh such as arms and armour, outstanding paintings and century’s old coins and manuscripts. 
Visit Durgiana Temple, Durgiana Temple is a premier Hindu temple of Punjab situated in the city of Amritsar. This temple derives its name from the Goddess Durga and it is also called by the name of Lakshmi Narayan Temple. 
Then proceed to visit Mata Lal devi Temple, Mata Lal Devi Mandir in Amritsar is an attraction of the history of Amritsar, India. A grand old pious lady developed this Hindu temple situated at Rani ka Bagh, on the lines of holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi at Katra (Jammu). 
You can also do the shopping in Amritsar Market Katra jaimal Singh, Lawrence Road. Return To Hotel, Overnight at Amritsar Hotel.

Day 03: Amritsar - Dalhousie (200 Kms/ 4:30Hrs)

After Breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Dalhousie. Dalhousie is sensational and charming, Dalhousie has a unique historical backdrop. The hill station has a history of the British Raj and therefore, one finds a flashback of that era over here. Located at an elevation of about 8000 feet, Dalhousie is one of the finest tourist destinations in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The place is quite popular amongst travelers all around the world due to its old world charm as well as picturesque views.
Dalhousie is also an ideal place for adventure activities and shopping freaks. Some of the well known places around here are Central Park, Dainkund Peak, KhajjiarLake, Panch Pulla, Satdhara Falls, Bhuri Singh Museumand Rang Mahal. The hill station spreads over an area of 14 sq km and sprawls over five hills. Therefore, travelers can enjoy taking long or short strolls and walks. Day 04:- Dalhousie  Height – 9000 FT

Breakfast at the Hotel , after breakfast proceed for  sightseeing of Khajjiar known as “mini Switzerland”, Khajjiarfamous for the  green meadow surrounded by pine forest and Cedar Forest ,  Back to Dalhousie and visit to Sat Dhara, and Shubhash Baoli and Overnight stay at the Hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 05: Dalhousie - Dharamshala ( 125/ 4 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Dharamshala. Reach Dhramshala in evening proceed to Mcleodganj to visit world famous Dalai lama temple , Shopping in Tibetan market It is the Buddhist capital of the Tibetan government in exile. Arrive Dharamshala check into the hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel (Breakfast & Dinner).

Day 06: Dharamshala – Palampur - Dharamshala

After breakfast proceed to sightseeing of Palmpur.A scenic place filled with abundant natural beauty; Palampur is located in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. Palampur is extensively recognized for its tea production and is known as “tea capital of northwestIndia”. It is bounded on all sides by tea gardens and pine forests.
The amazing blend of serene vegetation and clear water provides the city an exquisite look. Being located at the convergence of the plains and the hills, the location shows the disparity by the plains on one side and the imposing snow covered hills on the other. Day 08: Dharamshala / Amritsar (250Kms/ 6 Hrs)

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Amritsar airport or railway station.

  • When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. A contract will exist as soon as we issue our confirmation invoice. This contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions, which are governed by Indian Law, and the jurisdiction of the Indian Courts. If you had not seen these terms and conditions when you made your booking and you are not happy to proceed with the booking now that you have seen them please return all documentation to us or to your travel agent, within 7 days of receiving these booking conditions. Your booking will be cancelled and your monies will be returned in full, provided you have not commenced your travel. This clause does not apply if your booking was made within 4 weeks of travel.

  • Booking Procedure
  • You can call our office on + 91 8351846007 between 10.00 am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday to discuss your plans. Upon receipt of your enquiry we will provide you with a full written quotation together with our suggestions and recommendations. This quotation will state clearly ‘What Is Included’ in the price and ‘What is Extra’. Once you have accepted the written quotation we will require you to complete a Booking Form and send it to us. The following deposits will be required and may be paid by cheque, bank transfer or credit / debit card, over the phone if more convenient. On receipt of the deposit, The Travel Vogue will proceed to confirm all the arrangements and send you within 7 to 14 days our confirmation together with a complete itinerary. We will require the balance to be paid on your departure.

  • Cancellation by you
  • Should you wish to cancel your holiday, you must notify your travel agent or The Travel Vogue directly in writing as soon as possible. Please advise the reason for cancellation as you may be covered by your insurance policy. If notification of cancellation is received more than 57 days before departure only your deposit will be forfeit, within eight weeks the following cancellation charges will be applied:

  • 56 to 35 days: 40% of final invoice
  • 34 to 19 days: 60% of final invoice
  • 20 to 8 days: 80% of final invoice
  • Within 7 days: 100% of final invoice


  • Cancellation by us
  • Normally we will not cancel your holiday except if events occur which make it impossible to operate to an acceptable level of safety, convenience and comfort, such as political unrest, hostilities, industrial disputes, strikes, riots or civil commotion, natural disaster or any other similar circumstances or if you have not paid in full payments before departure. All group departures are subject to a minimum number of passengers, the tour is reviewed at 4 weeks prior to departure which is the latest date when the tour might be cancelled on account of low numbers. If we have to cancel a tour you will be offered an alternative tour or a full refund.

  • We reserve the right to cancel your holiday any time during its operation if you are found to be behaving in a socially unacceptable manner or indulging in an illegal activity. In such cases no refund will be offered for the unutilised portion of the holiday and The Travel Vogue will further claim from you the costs of your return to the city.
